In my last box of nickels I found 9 Buffalo nickels! I was pretty happy about that,But this one and the one I'm posting next has an area of interest.The e in five is the area in question. So is this a well placed hit? Thanks for any advice!

looks like a die chip with a hit over the top of it.

To my eye it's displaced metal, just PMD.

So true! After going through many many coin rolls over many years I have only found 2!

I couldn't believe it either. I think someone dumped grandpa's coins and I was at the right bank at the right time to get this box!
