Can You Identify A Possible Delhi Sultanate Copper Coin (Photos Clearer)?

Seeker55 Pillar of the Community United States 635 Posts	Posted 01/04/2018 09:48 am This coin weighs 3.37 grams and has a diameter of 16 mm. My best guess is the Delhi Sultanate from the 13th or 14th century, but haven't been able to match it up so far. I'll certainly appreciate any help. Ultimately did manage to identify this coin, by going through GG, checking coin metrology, and looking at photos of round copper coins in the correct weight range. This turns out to be a Bahmani Sultanate paisa of Firuz Shah, AH 800-825 = AD 1397-1422, ref GG BH70E. Report this Post to the Staff
