This came in a mixed auction lot. Looks like a ribboned medal with broken posts on top. A Washington Commemorative Revolutionary War item. It is 1 3/8" and 12.3gr. Any ideas what it is, anyone collect these? Want it? This kinda reminds me of a hard times token of the 1830's but the size/thickness is wrong. It is a contemporary something.

Seems like an advertising token. I found one for sale on the web claiming it to be from 1878.

It's not really a token, since no denomination is specified. More of a promotional medal that's pretty kicked around.

I can't imagine Google won't get you answers.

Crazy the Rulau # is Rulau NY-NY B270 . Yours also appears to have had a loop at the top that has broken off. I have seen this referenced with and without the loop on some others like this.
