Recently I acquired 28 Buffalo nickels that I will be posting for grading. Hopefully we can learn together about grading these. Picked this up for $26. Thoughts about grade and problems? Thanks! My thoughts on this coin after examining in hand is that it grades about au53. it has a full horn. The coat of fur on its back is slightly worn, but fur in head and back remains well defined.. The coin retains about 70-80% luster.

I am not seeing AU on this coin. Something on the reverse keeps unsettling me when I look at it. I am not sure if someone wiped the coin in effort to clean it off or what. However, still a wonderful addition to your collection.
