 It's worth face value. IMHO, It looks like it was a LDS or VLDS (late die stage, very late die stage) the die probably had already passed its life span.

 Although your example is only worth one cent, keep searching. We have folks report neat finds here almost every day.

 to the forum! It's worth one cent, maybe two for Copper value. The missing details were caused by an over polished die. Some examples are missing even more detail.
