Perth Mint - The 'Well Boy - You've done your Bit. What will Australia do for you?' poster commemorated on this coin was launched in 1919 as part of the initial peace bonds promotional campaign. The sale of the bonds to the public provided much-needed funds towards ex-servicemen's resettlement and pensions. This poster encapsulated the message that even those Australians who were not eligible to actively serve could still provide assistance to their country and its war veterans.
