Hi, I just recently got into collecting coins, I found two unusual coins that are not like the others. They both have to do with the "In" in "In God We Trust". One is a quarter and the other a penny. The Quarter is missing half of the N and it looks like there was never an I there to begin with.

The bottom part of the N in the Penny is almost connected, and in some lighting it looks as if it was an H or M instead of N. I took photos of these coins and was hoping you could give your opinion? Thank you so very much for taking the time to read this.

Ps- I'm having trouble uploading the photos. I'm on mobile and I went to the free image optimizer and I make sure the image is under 300 but when I go to hit save and upload there is no save button. Only options for editing the photo. Anyone else having this kind of trouble?

Just crop the image on your phone's image editor and then upload it from there. The image optimizer really only crops the image.

When you are in the Image Optimizer, and you see the optimized photo, hold down on it and select Save. (if you are on your mobile device)
Then check that it has downloaded to your camera roll on your device, them upload it.

The OP may be using it for lowering image quality, which is sometimes difficult to do on a phone.

Yes, this should work. If not, let us know and hopefully we can work through it.

The N on the penny looks interesting. Maybe a Cud? I'm not educated enough to know. On your quarter, the letters look like they're just worn, or maybe a weak strike. Did you find this coin in circulation? If so, it might just be wear.
