As someone that enjoys Numismatic Errors, I thought I would start posting my Global Currency Notes.

I also believe there are CCF Members located outside the States that collect World Error Notes, and would love to see them posted here.

I am currently working on a Census Thread of Higher Valued U.S.A. Web-Press Error Notes, along with the Values & Serial Numbers to look for.

When completed, I'm going to post it in this forum and spread the word so any International collectors having any of these rare error notes will know the true value.

Let's get this started with;

Post-Your-World-Error-Notes-Here

My latest purchase, a 5 Reais Inverted Overprint Error.

I will note the Serial Numbers were on the PMG Submission forms, and another reason I stopped using PMG for Certification.

This shows what the same type multiple overprint error is valued at on USA notes.

A few more error notes.
The Columbia & Venezuela Notes are Mismatched Serial # Errors.

I purchased the "Z" Series Replace Note to show where the Left serial number should be located, and after receiving both notes, I also noticed the dropped down left serial number was also mismatched, and not advertised as such.

This Pakistan error (pictured above) was also the result of the sheet being folded during the Overprinting process.
Post-Your-World-Error-Notes-Here

Since this is for World Currency Error Notes, I'll include my USA folded errors.

The first a series 1935E Silver Certificate Overprint Fold error.

I have to resize the next printed-fold error & will post somewhere down this thread. It was PCGS Certified, and I had to remove it from the holder to show the error note unfolded.

When I purchased this certified, there wasn't much interest from other ebay bidders due to lack of eye appeal.

I know what this type of error note looks like when unfolded, and wanted to show others what the note really looks like and believes anyone certifying a folded error to take photos prior to submitting.

I then made a laminated copy to attach to the holder.

Japanese puppet notes often have errors but this is a more interesting than usual example; an offset printing error with a portion of the back printed on the front in reverse (upper left portion of the front). Plus a very offcentre underprint and skewed back print.

I'm glancing through this again and realize I left out what I consider the Worlds Rarest Error Note, as after 12 years of searching for a second example, this still remains Unique, and the only known Triple Serial Number error note.

I plan on making a new thread with all the research information on how this impossible error note entered circulation.

Hello there,

I do not want to steal your thunder Broken-Coin, but I have seen another triple serial number error note, not British but European too.
I do not think this is the rarest and unique, in my eyes for example double denomination is a lot more spectacular than this one.

I have been actively seeking a 2nd example of a triple overprint error note for 12 year's now, you think it possible to post a picture to confirm your reply..

I constantly search ebay's Global Sites for multiple serial number error notes from any Nation.

And without a doubt, double denomination error notes are the King of errors in Currency collecting, just not as rare when it comes to the number of confirmed Notes in multiple series dates.
