Hello all,

Just picked this up a a coin show. Its a 1913 Canadian $5 gold coin, thought I was getting a good deal, but I think I paid slightly over value. It will come down to grade. I am hoping for a MS-62 and up.

Let me know your thoughts please.

I paid $620.

Thanks in advance

A bezel is a ring shaped piece of metal that holds a gem or coin and allows it to be attached to something, usually a chain.

Look for the faint crimp marks around the rim. This is how the bezel held the coin in place.

Possible rim damage, coin grading somewhere between an au50 to an ms62.
