Hiya everyone,
I was given this coin in my change, and I don't know what it is. I assumed the writing was arabic, but I really don't know.
Dated 2005, so definitely no ancient relic of a coin ( ), but I'm interested to know what it is.
Here's a couple of pics:

First guess Pakistan? They use the crescent moon and star on their coins.

Definitely Pakistan from the inscription, but my 2008 Krause is incomplete. I'll guess the value is 5 Rupees.

My Krause (Collecting World Coins 11th Edition, copyright 2006) has a Pakistan 5 rupees, KM# 65, that looks just like it. The book only lists it to 2004, though, but it does have 2005 1 and 2 rupee coins.
