I've had this set for a long time it's one that had a 1999 November mule included. I've always thought this was a really interesting coin being the first coin Canada has minted with no designated value on the coin.
I removed the Nov. mule and put it in a 2X2 for safe keeping for now.
This leads me to a couple of questions
Are these a proof like strike?
The soft plastic sleeve and the cardboard display card can either do damage to the coins?
Should I keep this all intact as an original set?
Is there any added value as an original set?

Cheers, Bill

That set is a Proof-like strike. There was a really cool error auctioned some time ago from this set, whereby the PL strike of one coin was done on a silver 25c planchet (intended for the proof set). The coin did not sell (did not make reserve).

Personally I think keeping any set of this type intact helps the value.
How much ? only time and the buyer will tell. This is just my opinion though . Probably my favorite set the
RCM put out.
