I've never heard of'em. And what sort of faith can you put in their grading? I CAN see this is a super sharp strike, w/a mirror like field both ob and re. They cannot be trusted for an accurate grade. As for the Morgan, I doubt it's a Zerbe special strike, but others may have more knowledge on die markers and the like. Report this Post to the Staff
SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 02/10/2018 08:49 am SEGS is notorious for the term "So-called Zerbe dies" being used to describe pretty much every D1 Reverse. First, that's a hub variant, covering approximately half of the 40 million minted. Second, what constitutes the "Zerbe Die" is kid of up in the air these days, as there are now two dies (VAM-1AG and VAM-47) having been identified as Zerbe coins. Report this Post to the Staff
