Yep, definitely a Die Chip. It's pretty common as I see it happen a lot in this area, but still a keeper since it makes the I in EPU look like an "L".

That's kinda strange that they designed it that way. Kinda ridiculous that they minted it that way. It looks more like an L than an I.

I would have to agree......always skipped a beat when I see that, but I suppose the mint artists thought of it as a anti counterfeiting measure. Henning ghost?
