I'm looking at getting a half dollar box and need a few dollars to get to that point (Thanks GM). So I have a small stash of SBA dollars that would get me over the hill. So besides the near date/errors and nice circulated coins are there any I should keep? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Higher grade (>=MS 65) MS 1981-S SBA dollars are worth keeping.

Thanks nfine. Are the 1980 S worth keeping ? Or just the 81's.

I wouldn't keep 80-S unless they are very high grade >=MS 67.

I get that you don't like SBAs, Crazyb0. You may want to look at MS66 and better SBAs before dismissing the entire series.

The hot girl at the drive through keeps all dollars/have dollars and 2 dollar bills for me. I do tip her Monetarily.But I like to look through all these coins for errors. Anyway they don't loose value So I hold onto them for things like this!

Crazy and his honest opinion. Drives me nuts SBA's of any stripe that are very high grade 68-70. Those are super rare for any date. If in doubt show us photos.
