I been looking for this one for a very, very long time. I snag this one up in the last few minutes, been reminding myself to bid on this coin, and was wondering if other Merc varieties collectors may spot it also. This one is real difficult to find in any grade, especially in grades above AU. I would say it is also in early die stage, as the die crack is barely visible around 6:30.

Now all it needs to be is in a NGC or PCGS holder, last I checked a PCGS MS-65 sold on ebay for $1,250 late 2016.

Very nice macmercury. An excellent addition to any collection. I don't think I've come across anything like that in my short time collecting, but they are so hard to see that someone could easily overlook it.
Rest in Peace

Nice pick mm! I'm not actively looking for any varieties from the 30's at this point so I sure didn't spot it. I still have many to go in the 40's and not just FS varieties.
Rest in Peace

Really great find. Congratulations.

Please note that there is certain evidence of circulation that would probably result in a grade of AU-58.

@moxking, I be fine with AU-58, anything over it is a bonus.

I have seen similar conditions in MS-63 depending for the short set years, most 40's are tightly graded due to mintage and large survival rates.
