Anyone heard of a variety for an 86-D? I'd appreciate any input.

The only DDR known for this year is 1DR-001, but the doubling is in the 9th column.

Your coin looks like it has a Plating Bubble.

I'm leaning toward a bubble, but just because a DDR hasn't been found doesn't preclude it. I appreciate ya'lls opinions.

When I saw a reply about only one known DDR/DDO for a 1986 D Lincoln, I have what I think could be a DDO or something. Fairly new at the Coin World my 1986 D looks like it was stamped 2-3 times over another coin. Even the reverse looks irregular.

PenLink123 you should post a picture. Thanks everyone for the comments, I'm going to go against my grain and smash this one. My curiosity might just kill a perfectly good Linear Plating Bubble. I'll be back with the result.

It's solid, not a bubble. I can't find it listed, so I'll hang on to it and consider it a Die Scratch. If one gets listed I'll consider it a very nice wide DDR.
