Hi all I have recently discovered in my Lincoln Penny collection that all my 1982 no mint marks weigh 2.6 on a digital scale. But I came across one that weighs 3.1 it's the only one I've found to weigh this. So it's copper in assuming instead on zinc. Anyone know anything more about this topic?

to CCF. In 1982 the mint made both copper,3.1g and copper plated zinc,2.5g. Also large date and small date.

So it was only the Denver mint that only made zinc?

No. Both Philadelphia and Denver made zinc and copper. There are 7 in the 'set'. Both large date and small date as well. The reason there aren't 8 is because they never made 1982-D small date copper. (Someone correct me if I'm saying the wrong one.)
Check out my counterstamped Lincoln Cent collection:
