I have been collecting on and off for 35+ years and last night I pulled a couple of Buffalo nickel rolls I bought out of the back of a scouting mag. when I was a kid. I think I paid $7.95 for the 2 rolls. Most of what I found were what I expected AG and G but the 2 best where a 1916 VF and 1916 D VF. I also went through some rolls of Barber halves that I had bought recently. Last week I took them with me to our local coin club and just set the rolls out and let people go through them and pick out what they wanted at $8 a piece. Several people went through them and bought some. I was sure there would be no key dates in these rolls as the guy I bought them from is a pretty good collector and he sold these to me below gray sheet bid for rolls. To my suprise I found a 1897 O very worn but worth a lot more than $8. Good week.
