Now no one is happy about the rising prices of Petrol (gasoline) around the world, but my local Petrol (Gas) station has just brought back a program that has not existed since the I think it was the 70s

The price on the street sign is $3.99.9 CASH but when you pull up to the pump each pump has a sign informing you the price is $4.05.9 and you receive a 6 cent per gallon discount if you pay cash inside.

Now you ask how is this helping me. I am friends with the owner of this gas station and I have been invited as my time allows to come in once a day and check the coins and currency that is passing through their register.

After just one day the amount of cash sales has increased 400%.

Come to papa you lovely old coins and banknotes.

That was big here in the 80's, credit a higher price than cash. I'm glad it's gone, it's a rip-off.

Since my cash back if I use my credit card at the gas station is 3%, that works out to a 12c a gallon discount. What was the cash discount? 6c? Ummmm, I'll use credit, thanks though.

I resist the current financial system best I can, even with a prime credit score- I don't use cards at all and get angry at the commercials I see for life being better wiithout cash. I just can't stand knowing if I use a credit card a bankSTER gets a cut of my sale and gets to track my purchases.
Cash rules!
I was thinking of trying to start a vending machine business- that would be an awesome way to have coin-flow.
