This coin was given to be years ago as an unidentified coin. I believe it is Delmatius, but I haven't a clue where it was minted. What mint do you believe it was from? I know that it may be a bit hard to identify the mint since it is so off center. Thanks!

There is no way that this is Delmatius. You can be sure of that because the obverse legend ends in AVG, Delmatius was only a Caesar. The beginning of the obverse is also clearly DN C, and Delmatius never had a head only type, he was always depicted as cuirassed.

I believe this is probably Constantius II. I am not sure of the bust type, but am leaning toward laureate head. If so, your coin was issued from one of the mints around the Propontis (the Sea of Marmara)-- Heraclea, Constantinople, Nicomedia or Cyzicus

echizento- thanks for the input. What makes you think that it is Constantius rather than Constantius II?
