I'm new to this and found this in a roll of dollars today from the bank it gold and it does not rub off it's the coin itself can anybody tell me about this coin

plated in gold or golden colored metal and placed in some sort of "set" to be sold for about 20 times what it is actually worth by someone trying to make a quick buck. its not really worth any premium.

Well....look at it this way.....it only cost you a dollar to acquire it !.......this defaced gold dipped coin may not even have enough gold on it to raise the value much at all....(and for most collectors, these are to be shunned and despised)........but really the question is ......What to do with it ?.......though it's not a prize coin, it still looks shiny & purrrrty !......
I'd just put it in an airtight and stick it somewhere.......(well...that didn't sound right did it ?..Ha Ha)
