How would you grade this common date Finnish 1 markka coin? Those lines under date (under number 5) and on lower right side of ribbon are actually lint.

Mint State high end, no marks but a blemish near the "5"...MS65

In Scandinavia we grade our coins much more conservative. In Finland this coin will probably go as an EF, but yes in The US it's another story to this.

This coin was graded as 01-0 (Finnish numismatic societys standard) on auction site. And that would be between BU and UNC. EF would be 1+ grade.

I think grading in here goes like: G=2 F-VG= 1?, VF-F=1, EF/XF=1+, UNC=01, MS/BU=0 and proof=00 .

If that's an EF coin according to Scandinavian standards what does a BU coin look like?
