Agree .. maple leaf. I think that it's half fraud, half unknowing .. and then sprinkled with pixie dust, hoping for big bucks from a common coin. But there are newbies out there that bid only on the words/numbers on a slab, rather than the coin itself.

I have to admit part of the fun for me is the "risk" of buying unslabbed and then slabbing them. I really like ICCS as I think they're conservative and so I feel more confident in the grades they give. That said, basement graders can sure hurt the hobby though these days I don't expect very many new adopters as humanity works though the phase of constant stimulation from the Internet connected mobile phone,
