I got these coins as a trade for a broken lawn mower a while back and I figured I'd put them up here.

The kreuzer is an 1858B. That's one of the more unusual trades I've heard of. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah he had an add on craigslist with a picture of all the coins he was trading. I was the last person to contact him so I got his last 5 but I thought I remember even seeing a nickel form the 1800s and a whole bunch more foriegn coins. I've got another lawn mower I dont want to fix again too and wish he was still doing the trades.

Sounds like you need a more reliable lawnmower.

The broken lawn mower would be worth more.
But not if you are a coin collector.

Scrap metal value of the lawn mower would be more.
But I don't collect bullion lawn mowers.

All coins are in the LMU, with the exception of Germany.

I have a complete set of all countries and types in the 10 gram size, during the period of each country's participation in the LMU. They make an interesting subject to collect, in the area of World coins.

People just give me the mowers so I can fix them. They have both wound up being too expensive to fix.

You know what I kind thought they were related because the reverse side was very similar on all of them, not to mention the similarities between the 2 Italian coins and the Greek coin. I like the German one the most just because its in decent shape for being so old.

It's funny because we I first got them I wasn't really in to coin hunting yet but had watched a coin roll hunting video on YouTube so I was just beginning to have my eyes opened. I just wanted to give the lawn mower to someone else who had the time and money to fix it as a project, getting the coins was a cool bonus. You could say they were the first coins I ever collected beside the wheat backs that I would save but always lose.

I just fixed that "other lawn mower". I'm going to sell it on craigslist and ask for $50 bucks or trade for old coins
