On the back above the eagle where the scroll is, there aren't any letters.

Are you looking at the reverse where there is a section of lettering missing from Pluribus? That's common in this series and is the result of incomplete strike.

On Capped Bust Halves the motto on the scroll can suffer from a weak strike.

The motto and scroll were recessed in the die and grease and gunk could fill them and the resulting coins with weak and missing details.

Initial glance doesn't reveal any errors. If you're referring to the missing 'Plur' on the reverse that's from a soft strike.

This is from a weak strike. Not an error.

Letters on the scroll are often weak or missing due to a slightly week strike and the fact that the scroll is opposite Liberty's bust which required a fair amount of metal to fill. Enough so that there often wasn't enough metal to fill the scroll on the other side.
