1962 Cent - You Versus ICCS (If You Guess Wrong, Well There Are Options...)

SPP-Ottawa Moderator Canada 10471 Posts	Posted 03/03/2018 4:19 pm I am slowly cleaning out some of my coin show inventory, listing a couple items a week on ebay... I went to photograph this coin today... And I thought, something is odd here... Really odd... How easy would it be to cut out one of my 1962 MS-65 coins and slide the cert in here!! The amazing part is this is an older certified coin (two digit certification number), I certified this coin a long time (when I lived in Sherwood Park, Alberta) and it has been in my inventory for more than eight years... I am glad I caught it - into the teaching collection it goes!! Why not! In a few years you could be a leading Canadian auctioneer of coins. It's a proven formula for success. But it is important to share with fellow collectors the potential of it happening. I will no longer sell the coin, but keep the open flip as an example for teaching.
