The opposite situation: I completely forgot about a silver coin I was selling on ebay and hadn't updated the price. It just sold for a steep discount to melt.  |

I bought a 2009 1oz gold eagle for $2700 when spot was $3200. I sold it to JMBullion as soon as a got it and made $500 |

I also bought 6 blue ikes for $50 a couple months ago. They were worth almost $100 then, now quite a bit more than that.

3 Pretty good deals to report today: 1962 Mint set for $64.91 (current melt $ 110.49)  (3) Franklin halves for $64.65 (current melt $97.51)  A 20 coin lot of 11 Halves and 9 Quarters from Barbers to Washington & Kennedys for $310.65 (current melt $503.75- some wear)  In this lot was a lower mintage (188,000) 1913 Barber half in respectable shape for being in a junk lot.   |
