Hi all,
Could you take a peek at this one? The obverse is slightly MAD

but the most obvious clash is on the reverse in the center of the memorial

and here you can see the inverted Y of LIBERTY in bay 11965-P-LMC-With-Slightly-Mad-Die-Clash

those are the most noticeable ones. Then there are various places where you can see part of the vest and head of the reverse *the black line is most likely a piece of lint*

and parts of letters and the date around the edges

There is less on the obverse. Just a few pieces of the lettering

and just a little left of the memorial in the field infront of the nose (note this photo is inverted to show better angle)

Pretty cool, huh. It's not an extreme example, but it is in decent shape.

Thanks for looking.

Sorry I don't see it. There are circulation contact marks, dings, scratches and stains but I don't see any clash marks.Note the areas that you are highlighting to be a clash are not aligned with the opposite side's design and are just scratches!

I respectfully disagree.

I clearly see the outline of the beard and chin in the columns as well as the jawbone outline in the steps

This is the Y
1965-P-LMC-With-Slightly-Mad-Die-Clash

and this shows(in my opinion)part of the N in CENT protruding from the curls on the forehead and another portion of the N within the curve of the you in TRUST

The others really are very hard to capture without a really good professional photography setup.

Could you please take another look? The obverse is slightly misaligned and also rotated.

Thank you very much.
Rest in Peace

I'm not so sure it's a clash either. Look at the overlay below, the "Y" should be in the second column. And it looks like the beard but doesn't quite line up.

I took a look at the possibility of a a rotated reverse die clash as using a tilted/loose hammer die...all the outside of the box possibilities. The Y in the rotation to be in bay 1 would be angled at a 45 degree left, not straight. Those most just be contact dents, weird yea.
