Here are two bronze scyphate coins attributed by the previous owner to Theodore Angelus Commenus, Ducas of Thessalonia 1222-1230 AD.
However, I haven't been able to find either of these in the Wildwinds database (at
http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/byz/...re_I/t.html) under Theodore Commenus Ducas of Thessalonia, or under a couple of rulers before and after, and am confused by the many similar coins. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
