After only a little over 50 years of collecting coins I have finally reached one of my long term goals. I just last week finished a completed set of Buffalo nickels complete with certified 18 over 17, 38 D/S and three leg 37D coins. This is the last set I intend to build; at least for a while.
I now have complete sets of all classic and modern U. S. coins that originated in the 20th and 21st centuries. I am going to continue upgrading some sets but the bulk of that activity is over as far as I am concerned. The next generation may want to work on that goal.
My next quest is to build a short set of commemorative half dollars in XF or better for a Capital hold I bought years ago. I just hope It doesn't take another 50 years.....

I might be able to say the same in another twenty years, which will mark my fifty years of collecting!

WOW for sure. I know how you feel. I've been collecting for well over 60 years and with each completion, I feel like I finally did something. Congradulations on that one.
Now are you sure you don't want to just start all over again?

Thank you to everyone! It is a labor of love for me as it must be for all of you too. As you all know just because an album is complete.....you aren't ever finished with it....there is always room for improvement.

Thanks again,

Awesome !!....at 39 years old myself....it's really nice to hear about the accomplishments of our "Elder enthusiasts" !!...Meaning, what we younger collectors can look forward to if we continue with this hobby and stay focused.
The pride you must feel with your collection!....
Those who'll inherit it will be fortunate indeed, and "adding to it" in decades to come, will be such a joy for them. Starting from nothing and building something is one thing.....but starting with "a life's collection" is another thing altogether !....
I'd be willing to put myself up for adoption if you're interested!!
