I wanted to know if the San Francisco Mint used different "fonts" or "styles" of the -S- mm on the 1970 LMC?
If so, how many?
And while I'm asking include '71&'72 LMC
Any and all info. Would be greatly appreciated!

From what I understand, 1969 and 1970 are prime for finding "floating roof" cents from all mints. Unlike date and MM styles, they are not a variety, but the result of die polishing.

Floating Roof are usually found on Denver Mint coins of 69 & 70. I guess the 70S and P could have but it is not that common nor are there any premiums for it, just a process anomaly is all, a mere curiosity. It was the individual mints that polished their respective dies, it was not a Master hub issue.
