Below is a flyer given to me at the Village Coin Shop in Austin for coin shows in Round Rock. The first is past, but at the bottom of the flyer are the shows scheduled later this year.

I've never been to a coin show. I may have to just check one out.

Village coin shop is one of the first shops I went to after re-entry into the hobby. I used to work across the street.

It is a really good coin shop.

Search the forum for "Village Coin Shop". There is a good review of the store with details by bkprewitt.

Reminder: The coin show in Round Rock, TX is this Saturday, April 21st.

I wonder if I might find a good deal on a 1931S Lincoln Wheat cent.

Bad timing as the DFW/Grapevine show is also this weekend.

Some of the bigger dealers will bypass a 1 day 40-table show for a 3-day 70-table show. Some coming up from the coast stop for the easier drive.

Well, that was fun going to the coin show. And scary, because I could spend waaaaay too much money at a coin show.

I focused on getting some Indian Head cents that were missing from the collection, but I picked up a 1909 VDB cent and a 1926S Lincoln Cent. That's all.

But I plan on visiting the Round Rock Coin Show again next time. I think I'll go for some Franklin halves. :)

It's a good thing they don't have these shows every month!
