On a 1-70 scale, couldn't say.

On a personal scale, I'd say very awesome!

... And probably MS-64 or better (looks amazingly clean so It could be much higher but I"m gonna just keep My guess low).

The mintmark looks odd to me. I'd stay away...

Both the position of the mintmark and the reverse denticles are normal on a 1908-S IHC. I don't see any signs of it being a counterfeit. If you're not sure, go to PCGS CoinFacts: http://www.PCGScoinfacts.com/Coin/Detail/2232

I would like to see a REALLY sharp and larger image of the mm.
At the moment I think it could be an "S8 - 1908-S Mint mark slightly right".
Common variety.

MM close-up would be helpful. Odd color for sure.

Even though I think it's legit, a close up image of the mintmark would help.

AU50, shot at 53, the color is not unusual for a toned AU+ IHC. Compared to my NGC slabbed 1908-S the MM position, shape, size are 100% matches.

AU-50. Something doesn't look right about this coin to me and I'm not just talking about the color. Almost looks like it has satin/sandblast surface. I'd like to see more pics if you buy it.

Here's what I think about the coin:

The color is normal for an AU IHC.
The mintmark looks normal.
The denticles look normal.
The surfaces of the coin look a little strange, but I think that it is caused by the photo being of low resolution.

Better pics would certainly help, but since you are not able to get some better pics, my opinion is that from the photos provided, this is a real coin.

I decided not to purchase this. The seller was upfront in stating that the coin was "WIZZED" [sic]. Thought the coin showed well despite the intentional damage but ultimately decided against the purchase.
Rest in Peace
