I have a genuine undated 20p and would be grateful for any advice as to what to do with it.

There are thousands of them so probably just put it away. When they first came out as a curio I bought one for £90.
A couple of years ago I bought some in a lot at auction for the equilvalent of £35 each.
They will sell realisticly for £50 / £60 ish and although some people are asking for more I doubt they are getting it.
One brought big money in a London Auction house about £450 but solely as someone was prepared to buy the finest graded by the english grading company.
It was in there opinion the best of about 800 they had graded.
You have two options keep it or offer for sale at £60 priced to sell.
There are also now Chinese fakes/copies of them to be carefull of these are very bright and shiny for want of an easier way to explain.
