This is a really clean cent except of course for the spotting. There are several very small plating bubbles on the reverse. Since this is happened during the minting process, would it affect the grade?
Any zincoln with visible spotting isn't going to get a super high grade. The bubbles won't affect the grade in my opinion until they burst and start to rot. MS64
Thanks everyone. Not trying to sell it, but learning grading. I have several rolls of 2018's to go through and everyone of them is going to be "shiny new". Just trying to get an idea of what I need to look for.
The spotting from the wash is something that we can do nothing about, right? So I need to look for one that somehow escaped the worst of the spotting with minimal to no bag marks.
