Greetings all. This is my first post. Would be grateful for more info on the following.

Have a uncirculated Elizabeth II 1964 half penny. Its the less common wide rim variety. The obverse image seems to have been minted on top of a partial image of the inverse. Please see attached image. Under the chin is a partial image of the ship mast and sails. Behind the shoulders are sea waves. How rare is this coin?

It looks to be a brockage, interesting but not particularly rare. Collectors in the UK don't seem to find error coins as desirable as other nations.

Thanks for the response so far. Forget to mention I have about 10 of these with exactly the same defect in every way. Does this suggest something different?

I would think a die clash more than a brockage.

Die clashes are from the most common mint errors in part because when they happen, they can affect many many coins before the dies are repaired. You can search ebay for die clash coins, and find a value of a few USD for such a coin.

The Man o' War sailing ship on the other side is
Sir Francis Drake's Golden Hind.
Elizabethan (1) era.

Check to see if there are any remains of that image to be seen on the obverse. Part of the jib sail and the sea edge under the ship seem to suggest this.

In addition to the die clash, its also a wide rim version of the coin which are rare. See picture. Searching google plus ebay, I could not find any. I wonder if the combination of the rare wide rim plus die clash makes it more valuable?
