Funny how I really enjoy the actual picture instead of a bland coin!

Where's your backpack?

I was in a time crunch because the solar eclipse was a moving target and I had to pick the right place for clear skies, so I had make this pit stop quick. This spot was probably a mile in the woods and it was easy to miss the turn but that may be because we were in a bit of a rush. But we found it and then got back on the road in time to find a good place for the eclipse.

Shenandoah was a pit stop in Virginia on the way to the eclipse viewing in South Carolina.

I originally was going to try to view the eclipse from the great Smoky mountains in Tennessee because someone on this forum here used a great Smoky mountain stamp with a sunset to send me a coin, but the weather looked iffy.

I'm hoping to get 'em all!

03/18/18 Bombay Hook
03/10/18 Fort McHenry
08/20/17 Shenandoah
10/xx/16 Acadia

I posted the Acadia one around the time I went there, and it has the same title format as these, so it can be looked up if you wanted to.

An error picture. Priceless.

I have several pictures, of my son, of me, of my son & fiance & I. I'm sure one of those doesn't have the car. Nice pick up though!
