two_tonevf35 Pillar of the Community United States 719 Posts	Posted 03/29/2018 5:06 pm I like the darker, circ cameo toning and it is XF-45 details, but there is the problem/hit under LIBERTY and a few rim nicks. The darker toning will get XF 40 max at PCGS, especially with it being a key date. PCGS and I never saw eye to eye on original surfaces - they will reward light cleanings and sometimes downright bright chrome finishes on coins with F-VF details. The coin will go to market, I'm not a bit collector of half dollars, this one just came up for sale and I grabbed it. Much better served in a real enthusiast's collection than mine!
