1988 D Lincoln Memorial Cent - Is It A Lamination Error?

pyrbob Rest in Peace United States 1943 Posts	Posted 06/12/2008 05:50 am Everything you see is from the copper plating becoming detached from the zinc under it. The bubbles on the surface and the area that looks like doubling around the mintmark are from this problem with the plating. It is very common especially in the 80's. Report this Post to the Staff
