Your thoughts on this coin would be appreciated. I am wondering if this is a weak strike or not.

I agree with DBM's assessment, but what's going on with the bridge of George's nose? Has it been polished away?

The details aren't sharp enough for me to grade. This coin reminds me of a recently posted 1934 NGC graded KGV. To me this is a higher grade coin maybe MS-63 struck through a lot of grease.

That is kind of what I am thinking, maybe a MS-62 with some of the hits across the face. I was primarily interesting in the "wire rim" around the REV, it runs all the way around. If I am identifying this correctly, it is caused by a high pressure strike, I think this would make sense if there was grease on the OBV die and the strike caused the higher pressure and the grease caused the lack of detail. I don't see any evidence of a partial collar, but hard to tell with the NGC case in the way. The nose if fully struck, just not seen in the photo's, I am having difficulties getting a good shot of the OBV. The red errors are pointing to the "wire rim" Am I looking at this correctly?

They went XF 45,
I have been trying to capture a picture where most of the face, bottom part of the crown and upper shoulder look kind flat. At certain angles the coin looks XF and others it looks MS. An interesting piece to look at.

Absolutely not an MS coin, wear is evident as well on the leaf in your last pic. Does appear better than EF45 though.

Even at my optimistic MS-63 from those pictures, That's a grading miss going by pics...An EF coin would show wear around the rim. This coin does not appear to have any. The fields look nice too...I wonder where that coin came from...lol...My pictures of this coin show different.

Lol, I did not put 2 and 2 together, though looking at your ebay name, it should have been obvious. Thanks for the great coin, very happy with it. Did you ever look at it raw? I am really curious about the "wire rim" on the REV. Nice pictures, very clear, I just used my phone as my camera is not setup at this time.

I totally did not remember this coin when I first posted the grade. It's amazing how photography can change a coin. I find your pictures soften/blur up the coin just enough to make the fields look much better and the rim stood out to me as being the high point with no wear. I go through so many coins. I sent this coin to NGC but I honestly don't remember noting the rim.
