I just recently started sorting through my spare change. Today I came across a 1974 Quarter with a "Spitting Eagle. Notice how it extends down through left wing. Also, zero notice the weird cuts in the UNItried to take several pictures to evaluate. Please tell me what you think.

to CCF. It is actually the eagles right wing. It looks like a scratch to me. A spitting eagle is a die crack not a scratch. If it is raised it is a die crack, and if incuse it would be a scratch. I see nothing on UNITED and I don't know what you are seeing with the obverse photos.
