Can someone please grade and value this 5 ore Norwegian coin. I only paid a few pence for it.

Seems VF by the conservative Norwegian grading scale. In US it will be better, but this does not count in Scandinavian coins. Value about $20.

Well, it's a handsome coin, so it was a great bargain for a few pence!

Maybe this is a rare case where the NGC price guide is about right. A couple of these have sold on ebay recently at under $5, but in lower grade (and with no lack of rim dings): https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nk...e=1&_fosrp=1

We have a poster from that part of the world saying $20, and NGC at $11 for a U.S. VF grade.
