Hello all. Plugging along on my RB poorboys Lincoln Memorial registry set and there is some nail biters out there. Greatcollections has the 1987 D FS-501 in 63 RB and an MS Red in 64. Both open on the block a little steep $150 and $300 respectively.
Im 39 for 53 LMC PCGS varietys listed and not counting the legendary ones there is about 10 just hard to kick up anywhere. ie the 87 D 501, 83 FS-401 , 95 D 101 etc. etc. My question to the gang is : how scarce is this rascal and have they established a value pricing? Thanks for your opinions.
Rest in Peace

Cammy, you're in a league all your own my friend! I can't hardly see the things much less shell out the dough for 'em! The minute you say Heritage or those others, my eyes glaze over! Good luck on your quest!

I hear ya crazybo, Patientence is a virtue and its getting expensive when I jump before looking. I had a crack at the 1983 DDR-802 for $275.00 in AU (raw) at an Abeline KS. Show in Oct. 2016. I declined and 20 months later got a slabbed 802 in AU for $50.00. I'm reluctant to pay the high price for the 87 D 501 and would appreciate folks opinions. In all honesty I'm conflicted about this variety. I have 2 of the weaker ones for 87 D and their quite unimpressive but the 501 is so unusual. It's one tough nut to crack. Thanks
