If you wish let me know what you think about these two.

The pictures of course do not do justice to having the coins in hand but it is close for the most part:

These are more of a deep vivid red and #8 has natural stripes in the patina "toning" kind-ah like variegated.

Coin #7:

Coin #8:

Lets see what the keen eye graders make of these.

Appreciate your thoughts.

Sounds about right. Is that a fingerprint on the second one?

No they are not figure prints: If you notice the variegated patina looks kind-ah like wide stripes (straight Zebra soft lines) that are no doubt wider than cured finger prints.

These lines are primarily in the right field and not on the figure (bust) the left field has a lighter tone of these stripes that the picture does not depict with the left also having a lighter diagonal swipe at 8-O'clock from the rear of Abe's head like where he was shot.

Believe it or not #8 even appears to the eye more gorgeous than #7. Quality and Overall Eye Appeal varies between buyers and graders, and when grading coins it is a matter of experience and opinions: All of these vary between buyers, sellers and professional graders alike.

Lets see what others have to say.

BTW: @SilverDollar thank you and these are tricky - pay attention to fine details of quality of strike, rim, mirrored fields, steps, and devices, etc. http://goccf.com/t/316081

I'm struggling with your lighting still. I cannot see the fields well enough.

Both look to be around 65.
