So I've done numerous research specifically on Lincoln cents, but have not found anything pertaining to if a double veriett can have mechanical doubling/damage. I've seen the three of the same coin, double die/verietys, normal and mechanical damage. Wouldnt it be possible to have a variety with Mechanical Doubling or other traits that are considered damage?
Rest in Peace

If you are asking can a DDO coin have MD or another machining error at the same time, then most definitely yes. Hub doubling is the PROCESS OF DIE PRODUCTION, errors are a PROCESS OF MACHINING. Two different manners and steps of the coining process.

You can also have a doubled die AND MDD Master Die doubling like on the 1972P/D/S cents where all three working hubs were affected by the MDD and certain ones became DDO's

Then any other mechanical fault can happen as can a clipped planchet and other planchet troubles. Anything is possible.

So if a coin has both how would that affect the price. Sense the machining is negative wouldn't that make say, a 1969-s double die less valuable. On the other hand depending on the type of process were talking about it might make it more valuable?

On a coin as rare and valuable as the 1969-S DDO, a little Machine Doubling likely wouldn't affect the value.
