I got a 1 and 2 dollar Canadian note (and 1 dollar voyager nickel coin) in a group and was wondering the value of these. should I spend them up there or keep them. If they are only worth 1.25 or so I will spend them and some collector north of the border can get excited about them. I have 1 note of each already and will keep the best one.

I don't think you will be able to spend these in Montreal,They don't accept the $ 1 and $ 2 dollard bank notes anymore, for the nickle voyageur they should take them since it's coin monney just like the loonies.

Your best bet would be to keep them as collection item.

I will probably keep the dollar coin but will try with the bills. If I get stuck with them no big deal. It is kind of neat seeing the robin on money. We have them around our yard all the time.
