I gave up on the Canadian Mint, and I was a member of the Masters Club at one point. Only thing I order anymore is the annual basic circulation sets they sell.

To me they are like the baseball/sports card companies from 1989 on.... 100s of special sets that overwhelmed and ruined the market. You had to be a billionaire to keep up. I don't even see baseball card shops around anymore.

I have the armistice coin and the caribou coin. I thought both were a great value. The armistice coin has some heft to it with gold plating and the 11 designed to resemble the Vimy Ridge Memorial.

The caribou coin is a bit on the thin side but the artwork looks really sharp in hand, much nicer than just seeing it online. Not bad for $20.00. Not a bad, or expensive, way to start collecting.
