I have a plugable USB 2.0 Digital Micoscope. I have tried to upload pictures but it says it is uploading but 2 hours later it still says the same. Would someone please that has a plugable digital microscope help me with this?

I have such a device but this site wants you to upload an image that you have saved, not do a live capture. Save the image from your device first, then run it through the Optimizer before you upload/attach it to a post.

What device(s) are you using as the "host"?

Your phone or tablet should automatically launch an app which will have a shutter button.
On a laptop you will need to launch one of the various photo apps which will show a live preview and have a shutter button.

That will store the image on the device where you can then upload it to CCF.

Just plugging in the device and clicking upload on CCF won't work - there's no software to glue the two together.

I use the camera on the plugable microscope. It goes to digital viewer. I get it from there. I go to upload image then it says file is too large so I use free imagine optimizer. I chop down under 300 KB to 283. Then save--then click green arrow. It says loading but over 2 hours it was still loading.
Rest in Peace

Should have timed out before 2 hours, sounds like a data freeze, or as suggested the file was actually not saved in a recognized format as .png or .jpg

You're probably already doing this but just in case... After you click the green arrow, the converted/smaller file is now among your downloaded files -- it usually has the same filename as the original but with "-ccfopt" added to the end. That's the file you should be uploading to the post.
