Will be making my first West Coast trip in a while, and saw next weekend, there is the Santa Clara show...

Has anyone been to this show? Is there usually a good amount of world material there?

Also, does anyone have any recommendations for good Bay Area shops/dealers?

I've been to Witter Coins a few times; they're located in San Francisco's financial district, on Market Street. Most of their slabbed inventory is on their website, though their listed "New Arrivals" have been way out of my price range lately. I've also missed out on a couple of pieces because I waited too long -- they sold something at a show before I clicked the Buy button, and once I waited for it to stop raining.

I've also been to Don's Village Coins on Ocean Avenue in San Francisco. It's a much smaller shop and I was only looking for uncirculated Franklins the one time I went in. From what I saw, he seemed to have a good inventory of raw/modern coins and some commemoratives in OGP. I didn't see/ask for anything slabbed, and since he accepted only cash I doubt I'll be back for the pricier items on my want list.

Martinez coin. And I know they have a least 100 pounds of world coins. It's a small shop and is cash only. Most of the dealers at the show I have dealt with. Most will work with. There will be a good mix of slabed and raw, tokens and some world. Hope this helps. I am about an hour away from Santa Clara. But won't be able to make the show. The next one I will make is in June and it's only ten minutes away.

@chipjones, the show that you mentioned that is ten minutes away, where is it being held? I ask because I'm located in Napa which is about 45 minutes from Martinez. I would just nerd to jump on Hwy. 680 to 780 and across the Benicia/Martinez bridge. I was planning on a show in Vallejo on the 6th of May but it has been cancelled. It would of been my first show in over 40 years. Side note: Crazyb0 sent me the link to this thread and informed me that you resided in Ca.nbut was unsure of the distances between us. Thank you for your time.
