1975 D Lincoln Memorial Cent Letter Sticking Up Off Rim?

I found this 1975 cent coin roll hunting, and it has letter sticking up off the side of the rim, I'm fairly new to collecting,and I have never came across this before. I didn't know if this was a common error,or not. Sorry about the pictures it's hard to get a good angle on the rim
